How the SABER process works
- Register the product on SABER with technical documentation and test reports to SASO toy standards.
- Obtain a product certificate of conformity (valid per cycle), then shipment certificates per import.
- Arabic labeling and warnings are required alongside or instead of English-only marks.
What differs from the US
The testing basis is SASO (aligned in part with EN and ISO methods), not ASTM F963. US test reports support the file but the certification body decides equivalence — plan for gap testing rather than assuming US reports transfer.

Does Saudi Arabia accept a US CPC?
No. SABER certificates of conformity are the import documents. A US CPC is part of your technical file, not the customs certificate.
Who issues the SABER certificates?
Certification bodies approved by SASO through the SABER platform. The importer (or their agent) registers and pays; the body reviews and issues.
