Amazon toy gating and how to get through it

Amazon restricts (gates) the toys category to protect against unsafe products. Approval generally requires seller performance metrics, invoicing or sourcing proof, and compliance documents for the products: a CPC backed by testing from a CPSC-accepted laboratory, with annual re-validation for toys since September 2025. Why documents get rejected

The most common rejection reasons are preventable: test reports older than the accepted window, missing CFR rule citations, certificates that do not match the ASIN’s product, and altered orsupplier-drafted documents without lab backing. A cleanly generated certificate with matching product details avoids all four.
